Bring Mahjong to Your Group

    If you’re craving connection, laughter, and something fresh, mahjong is your answer.

  • We make it effortless for you to host. Our team brings everything you need:

    • Tables, tiles, and racks – all set up and ready to play.

    • Instructors to guide you – no prior experience required. We’ll have everyone playing confidently within minutes.

    Your vibe, your way – whether you want chic, cozy, or themed, we’ll weave mahjong into your party’s personality.

    • Group size: minimum of 4 players

    • Cost: We book events in groups of four people. $280 for 4, $560 for 8, $840 for 12. More players request special pricing.

    • Length: 2–2.5 hours of instruction + play

    • Location: your home, office, or party venue

Guided Mahjong Play for Your Group 

Already Play? Let's Sharpen Your Game

Your group already has the standing game night — the table, the tiles, the tradition. What you don't have is someone in the room who can catch a missed pattern, explain why a hand isn't working, or show you the move you didn't know was there. That's where we come in.

An SLMC instructor joins your regular game night and coaches live, right at your own table — real hands, real strategy, real-time answers. No lecture. No starting over. Just your group, playing the game you love, better.

  • Groups who already know how to play or have completed Mahjong 101 and have regular game nights, Open Play crews, friend groups ready to move past "just getting by."

    • An SLMC instructor for your full session (2 hrs max)

    • Live strategy coaching during real gameplay

    • Answers to your group's specific questions, as they come up

    • Group size: minimum of 4 players

    • Cost: 50$ per person, 4 person minimum

    • Length: 2 hours of guided instruction while you play

    • Location: your home, office, or party venue

    You provide the mahjong night. We’ll bring the mahjong help.

  • Unlike our beginner private classes, we don't bring the equipment for Guided Play. You keep playing on your Your own tiles, at your own table. All we ask is that you have:

    • A mahjong set for every 4 players

    • Table(s) and seating for your group

    • Your NMJL card(s)

  • No problem. Mahjong sets and tables are available to rent for an additional fee. Just let us know when you book and we'll help you sort out what you need.

Faq: Beginner class

  • Not at all! We teach and guide from the very beginning, so every guest can play confidently.

  • We recommend 4 minimum for the best table setup, but reach out — we can talk through options.

  • Absolutely! From chic nights to cozy living room hangs, we’ll make mahjong fit seamlessly into your vision.

Faq: Guided Play

  • Yes — Guided Play is designed for groups who already have their own set and table. If you don't have one yet, you can rent a set (or a table) through our private shop for an additional fee — just note it on your booking form and we'll take care of the rest.

  • A private class teaches your group from zero — we bring all the equipment and start with the fundamentals. Guided Play is for groups who already know how to play; we come to your regular game night and coach live, so no equipment is included and there's no beginner instruction.

  • That's completely normal. As long as everyone in the group knows the basics, we can coach across a range of skill levels in the same session.
